Mexican authorities found the bodies of three individuals on Sunday in the Rio Grande River, which separates Mexico and the United States along the Texan border, reported The Associated Press.
According to Mexico’s National Immigration Institute, the individuals were most likely migrants who drowned while trying to cross the river into the U.S.
The institute added that two of the bodies had no identification on them, but the third one had documents stating that he was from Nicaragua.
