President Donald Trump on Saturday warned that the "Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist" if Tehran continues violating the ceasefire agreement, following a new round of U.S. airstrikes against Iranian military targets.

In a post published on Truth Social on Saturday, Trump announced that U.S. aircraft had struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations as well as coastal radar sites.

The latest operation marks the second consecutive day of U.S. military action against Iranian military targets, signaling that the ceasefire brokered earlier this week is rapidly unraveling.

According to U.S. officials, the strikes targeted facilities linked to Iran's missile and drone capabilities after Tehran allegedly continued hostile actions despite the truce. The Wall Street Journal reported that the United States has expanded its campaign to include military infrastructure supporting drone operations, missile storage, and coastal defense systems capable of threatening commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

The United States expanded its military response by targeting Iranian drone facilities, air-defense systems, and maritime capabilities designed to threaten shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, the WSJ reported. The Journal noted that maritime security in the region has been elevated as commercial shipping continues despite the renewed hostilities.

The latest exchange has placed the U.S.-brokered ceasefire under increasing strain. While the agreement was intended to reduce tensions and create space for broader negotiations over Iran's nuclear program and regional security, continued attacks on commercial shipping have prompted repeated U.S. retaliation.

Trump's latest statement also represented one of his strongest warnings since the conflict began. While previous messages focused on enforcing the ceasefire, Saturday's post suggested Washington could pursue a far broader military objective if Iran continues its attacks.

"There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable," the president wrote, adding that the United States could be forced to "militarily complete the job" it had begun.

Iran has not immediately issued an official response to Trump's latest remarks.
